Treasure Our Daughters Academy (TODAY) is seeking a creative and dependable Volunteer Social Media Content Creator to help us share our mission, programs, events, and impact through engaging social media content.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys creating compelling digital content and wants to use their creativity to support an organization dedicated to encouraging, empowering, and equipping young girls to thrive.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging social media posts, stories, and reels.
• Use photos and videos provided by our team to develop creative social media content.
• Write engaging captions that reflect TODAY’s voice, mission, and values.
• Edit provided photos and video clips as needed for social media.
• Create graphics and other visual content.
• Schedule and organize social media content.
• Promote upcoming events, program opportunities, and organizational highlights.
• Maintain consistent branding, messaging, colors, and visual identity across platforms.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop content ideas and support promotional needs.

Skills & Qualities

• Creative with words, images, and digital storytelling.
• Experience or strong interest in social media content creation.
• Familiarity with Facebook and Instagram, including posts, stories, and reels.
• Ability to turn provided photos, videos, and information into engaging content.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Good eye for branding, design, and visual consistency.
• Dependable, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team.
• Supportive of the mission and values of Treasure Our Daughters Academy.

Modality

Remote or Hybrid — This role can be fully remote for volunteers located outside the Metro Atlanta area. Local volunteers may serve in a hybrid capacity, with most responsibilities completed remotely and occasional opportunities to participate in meetings, programs, or events in person.

Requirements

• Computer with reliable internet access.
• Familiarity with social media and content-creation tools.
• Access to appropriate software or online tools for creating and editing social media content.

Time Commitment

Approximately 4–8 hours per month , depending on upcoming programs, events, and content needs.

Preferred

Applicants are encouraged to provide examples of social media posts, graphics, reels, or other digital content they have created.

Through educational sessions, experiential learning opportunities, positive relationships, and mentorship, we help girls strengthen their confidence, leadership, decision-making skills, relationships, and preparation for their futures.
